Cartiera Binda – Culture Island is an ambitious project combining cultural value with a great geographic and environmental position. The Vaprio area is highly accessible, allowing visitors to appreciate its unique qualities and experience a new lifestyle. This cultural project aims to create a smart community that respects local resources and follows a moral code. The project includes a financial and environmental code, ensuring energy self-sustainability, controlled CO2 levels, and limited water consumption. Commercial activities will revitalize the traditional “casa bottega” (a blend of living and working spaces) and strengthen local social connections. The island will be accessible only by bikes and pedestrians, with bike parking at every entrance and resident car parking in a dedicated area within a short walking distance, promoting a new, alternative, and more authentic lifestyle.
